Now based in Bala, North Wales, Billy's latest line-up for a Billy Thompson Gypsy Style gig now features Andy MacKenzie on lead guitar, lead and rhythm guitar and mandolin playing of Eryl Jones, Phil Gardiner (rhythm guitar) and Dave Turner (double bass). These are the players on this new CD now available throughout Wales, iTunes, from gigs and direct from the Thompsound Music Shop.

Billy Thompson's main project at Thompsound Music besides Billy Thompson Gypsy Style is the Welsh band AMLEDD (dd is pronounced like the th in The. Amledd means 'Frequency' in English). Original material co-written by Billy and Rhian Thompson (formerly Rhian Williams), the first album Cyfnod Cyntaf is out now throughout Wales.
